How to let Bedrock players join (crossplay)
Players on phones, consoles and the Windows 10 edition run Minecraft Bedrock, which normally cannot join a Java server. Crossplay bridges the two using Geyser.

How it works on Volantis
Crossplay runs through a Network with Geyser turned on. The network acts as a bridge, so Bedrock players connect to it and land on your Java server as if they were Java players.
- Your server needs to be a type that supports it, Paper or Purpur. Switch it in Settings if needed, see How to switch server software.
- Set up a Network and enable Geyser on it, see Link servers together with a network.
- Give Bedrock players the network's address. They join with the Bedrock edition, no Java account needed.
Crossplay is never perfect, since the two editions differ in small ways, but Geyser handles the vast majority of gameplay smoothly.
